UNODC 11th survey on capital punishment

(本報記者/國際組織報導) VNGOC is collecting input from member organizations to contribute to the upcoming UNODC report on capital punishment.

UNODC is currently carrying out the 11th survey on capital punishmentand on the implementation of the safeguards guaranteeing protection of the rights of those facing the death penalty, covering the period 2019–2023. UNODC will prepare a report on the basis of survey replies received from Governments and comments from specialized agencies, intergovernmental organizations, ECOSOC NGOs, and other sources.  Relevant NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC have been contacted to provide comments, reports and updates. To facilitate input also from NGOs without ECOSOC status we invite you to share your inputs with VNGOC until 14 August 2024. Inputs gathered will be submitted to UNODC on behalf of VNGOC.  Inputs should be based on the 11th survey (available here in all UN languages) and should refer to any developments that have taken place since the previous, 10th report.  Please share your inputs with  no later than 14 August 2024.
