NGO MG announcements and montlhy meeting

 We hope this email finds you well. Here are some news and processes going on for your follow-up and involvement:

• The  Zero Draft of the “Pact for the Future” has been released. Jessica is coordinating the NGO MG inputs in terms of the message, priorities, language recommendations: Here is the google link  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jRb4zMY9Ak0a5JvsqQJekADPHVUvAjAmJIbRcbsZF60/edit?usp=sharing Please share any inputs no later than TODAY Thursday 8 February 11:59 PM EST. 
• There is an opportunity to nominate representatives to attend Expert Group Meetings (EGMs), which will take place in March. SDG 2 will take place in Rome, and SDG 13 will be in Tokyo. Representatives must be self-funded. Please use this form to submit nominees by Friday 9 February at 12 noon EST (New York). 
• VNRs: The MGOS CM VNR Task Group is calling for expressions of interest from any member of the Major Groups & Other Stakeholders who is active in any VNR country to volunteer to assist in drafting a short statement. Deadline has been extended until end END OF FEB, you can sign up 
• March is around the corner and we must begin our preparations for the HLPF 2024. Please fill this form so we begin coordinations among the NGO MG Task Groups. 
• The Nomination Committee is working on the Global and Regional OPs process. We will share more news on this next week.
