Summary: This event considers the unique challenge of Sustainable Development in the context of fragile and conflict-ravaged states- and how MSME's/startups in these countries present viable pathways to advancing the Sustainable Development Agenda. Yet for all the potential MSME's carry to advance the SDG's, the situation they face with the global pandemic presents a number of serious challenges to their long-run profit potential. In this seminar, we explore solutions to these challenges and how the UN and its partners can support the work of MSME's as agents of peace-building and long-run development in the context of a global pandemic
